INTERNATIONAL LOGISTIC

Annotation: The theoretical and conceptual provisions of logistics as a sphere of entrepreneurial activity in the management of material, information, financial, safety, security and related flows are presented. The basic concepts in the field of logistics and supply chain management are stated, the modern concept of logistics and its structural elements are described. Much attention is paid to the consideration of methods and models of logistics, substantiation of functional unity and efficiency of logistics solutions. A wide range of economic logistics issues are stated. Methods and strategies of pricing, logistics costs and methods of accounting and analysis, indicators of the efficiency of logistics activities in the company are considered. Control questions and test tasks are given to assess the quality of mastering and consolidation of educational material. The questions of the application of logistic approaches, the theory of risks and security guarantees in the organization of the transportation of specific goods in the conditions of market relations are analyzed. Reflected: the specifics of the cargo; principles of material flow formation; information flows that ensure efficient and safe movement of material flow; specialized rolling stock; transportation safety principles; responsibility of cargo owners and carriers; risks and measures to prevent them; sanctions for violations during transportation. The organization of the transportation of specific goods in international traffic is analyzed, taking into account the insurance of transport risks.
