In our country great attention is being paid to the creation of modern textbooks and manuals for teaching foreign languages, especially English, as well as the training of qualified specialists with their help. This textbook is also intended to achieve this goal and it was designed according to the syllabus for Year 1 students of International Relations direction of International Islamic academy of Uzbekistan. The topics of this textbook tend to give opportunities to the learners in improving their communication skill, enlarging topic related vocabulary and broadening their expertise in country studies, as the themes are based on Communicative Language Teaching.
