English Stylistics

English Stylistics is a book of practice which can be used alongside in theoretical and practical course of English Stylistics. Its aim is to help students acquire and use the knowledge and techniques necessary for the stylistic analysis of a text, i.e. find and interpret language structure, which carry some additional information of the emotive, logical or evaluative types, all serving to enrich deepen and clarify the text. The book is divided into two parts, first one containing a brief theoretical survey, questions checking the students’ comprehension, and 2nd chapter presents activities and tasks recommended to use during seminar classes. The book ends with a list of the authors, whose have been used for illustration.
